Verification

Certificates issued by the Bhutan Maritime Administration (BMA), excluding LRIT certificates, are provided with a unique verification number that allows authorities, port officials, and stakeholders to confirm their authenticity immediately through the official online verification portal. Once issued, the original certificate must be retained on board at all times and presented upon request to competent authorities when the vessel operates within their jurisdiction.
Certificates can be verified and authenticated by accessing the verification portal via the link below and entering the certificate number exactly as it appears on the document. Alternatively, the QR code printed on each certificate may be scanned to automatically redirect to the verification system.
